Stage 5: 2006 CCC Heartfailure Workshop Initiative

The CCS National Heart Failure Workshop Initiative continued to gather momentum at the recent International Heart Failure Summit, June 16, 2006 in Toronto , Ontario . The CCS delivered the second in its series of regional heart failure workshops as part of its multi-year CCS Heart Failure Consensus Program.

CCS continues to gather feedback, comments and insights from workshop participants. Both pre- and post-feedback was gathered during the Toronto workshop.

With a 60% return rate and 91% of respondents rating the workshop as either very good or excellent, CCS continues to better understand the needs of end-users of its Consensus Recommendations. Further, the ongoing evaluation of these workshops enables CCS to fulfill its commitment to eliciting the help of the entire multi-disciplinary community in shaping the future of evidence-based cardiovascular care in Canada .
